Overview

Grid+ is a native macOS desktop application for viewing and editing data files. Your files stay on your Mac. We designed the app to process your data locally on your device whenever possible.

Data you open in the app

Files you open, create, or save with Grid+ are handled on your computer. We do not upload your spreadsheets, CSV files, or other data contents to our servers as part of normal app use.

• File paths may be stored locally for recent files and pinned files.
• App preferences are stored on your device.
• Autosave and export actions happen locally on your Mac.

Information we may collect

We may collect limited information in these situations:

• Updates: The app may check for software updates and download update packages from our release infrastructure.
• Support: If you email us, we receive the information you choose to send.
• Website: Our website may collect standard technical logs from your browser, such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, through our hosting provider.

How we use information

We use collected information to:

• Provide and support the app
• Improve reliability, security, and product quality
• Respond to support requests

What we do not do

• We do not sell your personal information.
• We do not use your file contents for advertising.
• We do not require an account to use the app.

Data retention

Local app data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app. Support emails are kept only as long as needed to respond and improve the product.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information we handle. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

Grid+ is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on https://gridplus.app and revise the effective date above.
